Equipment Grid Missing from Player Tab

Sounds simple?

My equipment grid is missing from my player inventory tab. I'm well into the game and its gone on one of the updates. I even load up and old save when it was visible and useable and it does not show up.
I have searched in all game control pop ups and tried to advance further into the game but its frustrating that s its not there.
I can research and build grid items such as Jetpack and weapons but have nowhere to put them.

Is this a simple fix or am I the only one that has this issue?
