Long distance circuit connection

Is it possible to connect painlessly a circuit over long distance, aside with a mod? I need to check the fuel level at a point some 300 tiles away.

And Circuit connections work instantaneous over the map, regardless of distance. So the answer is yes.
(and 300 tiles is not really very far in a end game base
