[1.1.26] Black Terrain

Hello,

I post for a friend I play with. Since about last week the terrain is missing on certain maps we play.

We tried changing graphic setting but nothing changed. We already where able to play about 40h and launch a rocket on a 60 sience per second game. The new game we started fine but out of a sudden the terrain turned black.

Lenovo does not have a new one. The newer ones are WHQL and do not want to be installed. There seems to be a way around this... I will try this out. Thank you

the driver is up to date now... but the problem still exists... any ideas?

Restart the system if you have not already, choose low quality texture compression and deactivate water animation. Close all other programs before starting factorio and post the new log if the issue persists.

Hello, can you try to switch back to Direct3D renderer? In the main menu hold Ctrl + Alt and click on Settings, then click "The rest", search for force-opengl (you can use Ctrl + F) and uncheck it. Then confirm the change and restart the game.

Did you get "GPU was removed" crash which offered to switch to OpenGL renderer just before "the black terrain" issue started to happen?
