Organize-Inventory Button, drag-click to split

Hi,

I need very often to split equaly a stack. Coal, ore about furnaces, or best example is magazines:



I usually right click until I have approximatly number of stack to fill up my turrets, or coal for furnaces, ect
I don't mind to do it manually, and then CTRL+Left Click is awesome.

Suggestion 1: Like in Minecraft, we could Right Click-Drag to split equally stacks in your inventory.

I know in settings that you can organize automatically your inventory.
To make these stacks, I'm obliged to desactivate the setting.

Suggestion 2: I would love a button somewhere, just a click to organize stuff, once, only once.

I know also CTRL + right click to divide a stack per 2. The thing with CTRL+right click is you drop stuff like 50 then 25 then 12 then 6 then 3 then 2 then CTRL + Left Click for the last one. That's very good, but not equal. I can understand it's long to programm to drag over furnaces or turrets I have no clue the amount of works it needs, so I'm only talking about inventory.

What do you think?

Factorio is not Minecraft. Factorio is a game about automation. If you do things more than three times: automate it!

The right way to do this in Factorio: place number of gun turrets, place belts at one end, and a chest at the start. Feed magazines into it. Place inserters, that feed the gun turrets.

You can do that even without need for electric power, you just need to use burner inserters to feed the gun turrets.

Believe me: this sounds complicated, but is a lot easier, than feeding gun turrets by hand.

Btw: splitting is easy, if you use the quick bar!

I know I already do it, and actually yes I usually do the chest trick for ammo. I'm mostly talking about for beginning of the game, when you drop stuff by hands, and in Marathon mod, beginning means 20 hours lol.
I believe it's not so much of work and a lot of easier feature, since there is already so much usefull key shortcut !

Off-topic, Here first Marathon attempt, I'm finishing the red ammo before switching to lazer turrets. You see ^^
