[1.1.6] Game looks blueish when in-game normal when not selected

Post by Oexyz »

Hi,
I'm having a weird bug in the game, that everything looks blueish, the weird thing is that it is only in this game, the settings are deafult, isnt modded either.

When I press the windows button and the game is not selected it looks normal, but when it is selected it looks like in the attachment and nothing changes it, no color filter applied etc.

The second wird thing is that when I take a screenshot of the blue game on the Screenshot in paint lol it looks normal.

Tried the reinstall the game, my graphics drivers and nothing helped.

That looks like maybe some overlay is causing it?

Hm, i don't believe it since it is a fresh install of windows and the only things that are installed are minecraft, steam, chrome, factorio and all of the drivers

Try running windows update. That version is from May of 2019.

It's probably driver bug as it presents the backbuffer as BGR instead of RGB. Try to disable "Use flip presentation model" in graphics settings.

You need to restart the game for it to take an effect.

The reason why I think it might fix the problem, when the option is enabled, it allows the driver/Windows to take a shortcut when presenting the final image to screen, if it is in fullscreen and not overlayed by any other windows or Windows elements (like start menu). And from how you described the problem, it looks to me like the problem only happens under circumstances in which the shortcut is taken. So I am assuming it is taken and the driver has bug in there.
