Mods used Steps to reproduce
  1. Load attached save game "creative_mode.zip"
  2. Create a blueprint with Alt-B, make a selection, confirm blueprint save, then add blueprint to hotbar.
  3. Right-click blueprint in hotbar to open
  4. Left-click "select new contents for the blueprint"
  5. Make a selection that includes loaders
  6. Right-click on at least one loader to exclude it from the blueprint
  7. Click confirm to save blueprint
  8. Right-click blueprint in hotbar to re-open
Expected behavior: Blueprint is opened, with right-clicked loader excluded.
Observed behavior: Game crashes when re-opening blueprint.

This issue appears to still be occurring in 1.1.2. Rather hard to reproduce consistently, but I got it to occur using the following steps:
  1. Start Factorio
  2. Create a new scenario with default settings
  3. Place an express loader connected to an express belt
  4. Create a new blueprint containing those machines
  5. In the blueprint editor, right-click to remove the express loader from the blueprint
  6. Place the newly created blueprint on the hotbar
  7. Right-click to view the newly created blueprint
