Newb needing help

So. I got sublime text all I need now is lua 5.2.1. I've found it on lua's website but it's asking me to build it? (and I have no idea what I'm doing.) I'm really new to this but I want to learn and get into modding. Can anyone assist me or tell me what I'm doing wrong?

You don't need to install lua to write a mod. You just write some text files and factorio does the rest. Just go over to the wiki and look at the tutorials.
