[1.0.0] SOLVED Unexpected error on Non Steam version.

So, I tried updating my game, and it wouldn't get past 0.18.44. So I downloaded the .rar, and the game hung up and crashed at 95%. I tried downloading the setup tool, it installed, and starting the game hung up at 95%.

The explanation that the hardware owner gave me is that the server is on a virtual machine and can't run any video acceleration. Is there anything I can do to correct that?

EDIT: I looked at an older post of mine that had this exact same problem where I created a batch file that included --gfx-safe-mode in it, and this solved the problem. I am smrt.

If you're running a server you don't need and shouldn't be using the graphics version. You should be starting it with --start-server *save-file-name* which will load without enabling graphics and give you a command line interface to the game. viewtopic.php?t=13609

Since servers don't have GPUs commonly as you're seeing.
