FFF 361
FFF 361
It's Friday! Anybody else feeling the continuous urge to reload and check if FFF 361 has been posted yet? It will be hard to get rid of the ritual. Guess I should write a script that will fetch me one of the old parts instead each Friday. As I've joined only 2 years ago, there still are a number FFFs I haven't read yet …
Anyway, as I haven't done so before (I'm always late to the party…), here's a late, but heartfelt "Thank you!" to the developers for all their great work providing a wonderful game that is not only fun to play, but also fun to mod for (actually, the first game I've ever done that for)!
And now, off to FFF 361%360!

A good mod deserves a good changelog. Here's a tutorial (WIP) about Factorio's way too strict changelog syntax!

Re: FFF 361
Time to read FFF 001
Re: FFF 361
I am very thankful to Wube for enjoyning the journey to 1.0. It was a great ride, and it resulted imo in the best game ever made. I appriciated the no bs policy and direct communication via the FFF's and various platforms. While i will miss the FFF's I am happy the devs finally reached their goal finished the game. Factorio is is a fact.
But our friday ritual does not have to be over. Now the devs released 1.0 The future of Factorio is being handed over to the community. And with the years we have grown a large community, were all members get a change to show their talents. Modders and scenario makers have been this time way ahead, now it's time to shine.

For those who missed FFF 1, here it is:

There are handy arrows on the bottom of the screen so you can move among the FFFs.

That's what I thought, too, but the real FFF 1 was posted about 11 months after that.Kyralessa wrote: Fri Aug 21, 2020 5:11 pm For those who missed FFF 1, here it is:

Yes, I've looked several times, still waiting for it.Pi-C wrote: Fri Aug 21, 2020 12:46 pm It's Friday! Anybody else feeling the continuous urge to reload and check if FFF 361 has been posted yet?
I decided to look around to see if there was any mention of why it isn't out yet, and found this page.

Re: FFF 361
... I don't if you guys are joking or not, it seems like you guys don't know what happened. They already said in last FFF.

May be we are joking, may be we just seem to be joking -- who would be able able to tell if nobody left any hints?qq271206247 wrote: Sun Aug 23, 2020 4:11 pm ... I don't if you guys are joking or not, it seems like you guys don't know what happened.

Checking FFF has become my way of starting my weekend.
After 4 years that habit will be hard to shake.

This thread seems like the best place for this: Can we please get a subforum for Alt-F4 like there is for the "real FFFs? A link to the post of that week and the possibility to discuss it. Discussions on reddit and discord are always a bit chaotic.Koub wrote: Fri Aug 28, 2020 5:50 pm btw the real place where they are published seems to be :

You and anybody else is free to create a new thread for each Alt-F4 in General Discussion.ickputzdirwech wrote: Fri Sep 18, 2020 3:28 pm This thread seems like the best place for this: Can we please get a subforum for Alt-F4 like there is for the "real FFFs?
