[0.17.79] Issue with constant zooming in

For some reason game just keeps on zooming in, the only way to stop this is to delete mouse scroll up in the settings (both on map and game not separately). The problem is not in the mouse itself, since it doesn't scroll in other programs and apps. Tried starting new maps, load older saves, reinstall the game, all for naught. thanks in advance.

Do you have gamepad plugged in to your PC by any chance?
