need train help

Hello,

i am having trouble with my trains, as you can see in the picture below the small train stopped in the waiting area is trying to go but is choosing the path where the other small train is stopped at the station way is it choosing this path? why does it not choose one of the other available paths to travel on. i am using chain signals from start throughout and a normal signal at the end.. i just don't understand it.

Looking at your image, the train on the left is the lowest cost path, with a penalty of 500 (train stopped in station), while the others have 4000 or 6000 penalty for having stations.

yeah ok i think i understand that, so i guess i should add a rail in with nothing so trains will choose that path if they just want to pass
