i Get Unknown Control Sequence Alternative-build Efter i downloaded the game and trying to Lauch it

Hi, what language are you using? This seems to be a problems with some of the translations in older versions (including the stable 0.10.12). Either switch to english, or update to experimental version.

If you choose to switch to english and factorio doesn't start, you can manually edit the file config.ini and overwrite the line locale=<your language code> to locale=en.

Updating to experimental is done by setting "enable experimental updates" in other settings dialog and restarting factorio. Alternatively you can also manually download the experimental version from http://factorio.com
