Good morning Factorio team,
I found a minor bug that can waste inventory space over time if not managed by the player carefully.
When clicking on the deconstruction planner button on the toolbar, it creates a new instance of the deconstruction planner item in my inventory.
Each new deconstruction planner instance created in my inventory takes up its own slot and does not stack, so it begins to waste space in inventory.
The upgrade planner does not have this behavior. Instead, it seems to operate without creating an instance in inventory.
Thanks

Re: Deconstruction planner toolbar button creates new instance of item each time
Thanks for the re port however that's not quite how it works. If you put the deconstruction planner in your inventory it will make a new item. If you just click the button, then press "Q" to clear the cursor it won't make a new item.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

As Rseding91 said: the deconstruction planner will only take up space in the inventory if you place it there. The reason why the deconstruction planners don't stack is that they can be set to account for different whitelist/blacklist filters for deconstruction when opened via right-click. Even if the filters are not set before adding a new deconstruction planner, they will still not stack. Thus you can set different filters on them afterwards.
