Re: Option to clear trees when placing blueprints
[Koub] Moving this to Gameplay Help, Shift-clic with a blueprint in hand indeed deconstructs trees and rocks automatically if needed before building.

Re: Option to clear trees when placing blueprints
Ney, OP wants to have all trees and rocks eliminated in building area, including such which doesn't collide with anything.
Should be in suggestions.

Re: Option to clear trees when placing blueprints
In a U shaped blueprint, do you want the rocks to be deconstruct in the gap ?
Wouldn't it be similar as running a squared decon planner , unless the shape is different on the outside ?
Where should the rocks be destroyed in a blueprint that has a L shape ? a triangle or a square ?

Re: Option to clear trees when placing blueprints
Technically, the building area is the area where something is going to be built. The blueprint is not a surface, but a set of entities placed at specific ... places.
Or, in a whole area should be cleaned, a decon planner with trees/rocks filters should do the trick.

Re: Option to clear trees when placing blueprints
Was suggesting to clear everything in the blueprints bounding box (a box that fits all the entities in the blueprint) as a quality of life feature

Well I understand better now. OK, I'm moving this back to Suggestions subforum then, but I am doubtful such a feature will be implemented, because there are too many cases where it does not make sense, while current features are "close enough" while being edge-case free.
