A new hotkey (or option to change the behavior of shift+click) to toggle between short-planning and long-range-ghost-planning modes. The mode change should be permanent for the game until the key is pressed again, i.e. not reset when changing the starting point of rail planning.)
Why?
- Holding down a key for prolonged periods of time (i.e. when planning large rail segments or junctions) is exhausting and annoying. (Yea, i'm getting older and don't want to get repetitive strain injury just yet...)
- With the "hold" mode and default keybinds it's impossible to rotate the rail-end clockwise as releasing shift resets rotation. This means i have to counter-clockwise rotate with shift+r up to 7 times instead of just 1 time.
- In the endgame almost all rail building is done via ghost-planning. The desired default behavior shouldn't require constantly holding a key.
