About the extensions' installation

But I want to know that when to install them?

It seems that the answer is Nope.
If Some extensions is enabled,it will be showed in the Special:Version.Actually ,it didn't.
I am not very sure ,but I think it need to reboot the web application to reload the PHP,then the mediawiki will find the new extension.

I'm sure, they know that, and I'm also sure, that the server don't needs to be rebooted, to install a new extension.
The point is, that they need to do it.
