Option to store mods unzipped

It came up on Discord that unzipped mods load faster than zipped mods. I would love to be able to set an option to make downloaded/updated mods get unzipped automatically. My short term fix is to just unzip them all manually after running updates.

but how would you be able to tell what mods you've edited?

compare file modification date to folder creation date
