Please give us back the mining hardness for ores, and the mining power for drills (as optional properties, with the default values required to get the desired effect in the vanilla game)

my respawnable ores don't work anymore without this property (when depleted new ones with higher hardness pop out and require new drills with higher power to be able to mine the same vein again)

also the mining tools were great for adventuring purposes, it would be nice to have them again (with mining speed and power just like drills), as optional of course with this slot disabled by default, maybe in the player prototype? the new "tool_attack_result" value can't be changed runtime but equipping a new tool was a way to change this before 0.17

it's great you're still improving your game and adding content and stuff, but it would be greater to keep old stuff as optional instead of dumping it.

That's what mining categories are for, they work perfectly for your use case.

yes thats what i tried during my failed nap attempt and it's a suitable solution.

i'm still upset about a lot of changes, but for now, your game is still the best with the best staff so i'll just discharge my boiling rage on LoL forums, again.
