[0.17.16] Partial Stack Insertion - Cursor defaults to full stack after first insertion

Post by hughball »

In 0.16, as the proud owner of 400 ammunition and four empty turrets, I was able to right-click a stack of ammo to pickup 100 ammo and ctrl-click-drag over my four turrets, loading each one with 100 ammo.

In 0.17, following the same process, the first turret will load with 100 ammo, then my cursor will change to a full stack and load the second turret with 200, the third with the remaining 100, and the fourth and last turret will remain empty.

I feel this is an inconvenient minor bug. Thanks for the amazing game!

Not without mods. Vanilla 0.16 pulls up a full stack after placing items into a container this way.

As tehfreek says, you are describing the behaviour of the mod "even distribution".

I double checked in the latest 0.16 and you guys are certainly correct. Not sure how I thought this was a thing because until yesterday, I didn't know this mod existed. Thanks!

I'll just back away now...
