I was in a damaged train (single engine no trailer) coming towards (may have arrived at) temporary stop. i tried to rotate it with the R key, it didn't respond so i spammed R before noticing a crash
rail looks like this, left hand drive. two tracks merge to a single small rail specifically for rotating
