Prevent autosave steam sync

Not sure where to post this, but maybe here is the best place.

Steam takes an AGE to sync when I quit, and I have recently realised that this must be because it is syncing the 3 autosaves as well as my saved game. I would like a solution where this doesn't happen. To wit:

Is there some option I have missed to omit autosaved from steam sync? If not, is it possible for a mod to do this (maybe one exists that I can't find)? Perhaps it could chnge the location of the autosave files?

It is important to note that I require steam sync to be enabled, I am on a slow connection, and I also require the 3 autosaves as standard. I do not require the autosaves to be steam synced, just the normal saved game.
