PrtScr key already works for screenshot. It copies the current desktop to the clipboard. You then can paste that into Paint, or whichever app you like.

If you don't want the entire desktop, and only the current window, use Alt-PrtScr.

Though I'm with you. I'd like a dedicated game hotkey. Most every game has one.
