Sometimes when rails cross the position of rail signals is ambiguous, that is the position looks like it could be for more then one track. If a signal is placed at that position it only controls one of the rails. The problem is you have no control over which rail the signal will control.
I propose three solutions, please pick one:
1) Signal controls all rails.
2) Allow player to select which rail signal controls.
3) Remove display of signal (line connecting position to rail) for rails that signal does not control.
Overlapping rail signal positions
Re: Overlapping rail signal positions
Thanks for the report however you already can control which rail it connects to by pressing "R" to rotate the signal before you build it at that location.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
Re: Overlapping rail signal positions
Boy do I feel dumb. I never tried to rotate the signal. Is this in a rail tutorial?
Re: Overlapping rail signal positions
TIL, I always had to remove rails to try to get it to fit.Rseding91 wrote: Sat Sep 22, 2018 4:39 am Thanks for the report however you already can control which rail it connects to by pressing "R" to rotate the signal before you build it at that location.
There are 10 types of people: those who get this joke and those who don't.
