Indicate enabled/disabled state of a train stop in map view

Post by DaleStan »

I think it would be helpful to be able to see at a glance in the map view whether a train stop is enabled or not.
One way this could be done is to have a blue ring around a red dot, as we have now, for disabled stops, and use a blue ring around a yellow dot for enabled stops. This color scheme matches the lights that appear on the rail stops in world view, which I'm hoping will maximize discoverability, in both directions.
To display even more information, another option is to split the center dot in half (e.g. vertically) and have each half of the dot replicate the state of one of the two station lights. This may result in too much blinking, though.

it is already this way, an enabled stations name is in white and a disabled one in red.

Huh. I did not know that. That said, I'd prefer to leave station names turned off, if I can manage that.
