I'm considering having a separate logistic network for my produce-a-few-of-everything shopping mall that sits right in the middle of my base. So it would be surrounded by the general logistics network. That would mean general bots would fly over the shopping mall.
Now the question is: Would those general bots recharge at the shopping mall or will they crawl the long way out of the mall till they reach a recharging point in the logistics network they belong to?
Note: Does it make a difference that I use Bobs charging points instead of vanilla roboports?
Can bots charge from a different logistic network?
Re: Can bots charge from a different logistic network?
I can only answer to this one - it doesn't matter. Charging point is a roboport.mrvn wrote: Note: Does it make a difference that I use Bobs charging points instead of vanilla roboports?

Interesting question, the test scenario should be fairly simple to build.
I built this quick test: Bots never went to the ports alongside the flight path, they always returned to their own network for charging.

As expected, they can not.
