Factorio Mod Madness 3.0 + Version 13 [NEW]

Hello,

7/11/2016 - Factorio V13 Now Live!

12/31/2015 - Season 3.0 will start when ever Factorio Releases to 0.13.0.
Will be starting a Series focused on transportation and trains in the next couple days. Using " Version 0.12.20 and Mod Madness Modpack for 0.12.20"

8/18/2015 - Series Ending in a couple episodes to move on to a 12.X
Train Networking + Biter Adapting to trains as a regular daily routine... How many biters will be killed by trains?
And Possibly live streaming some episodes on YouTube or uploading more than 3 times a week along with other games.

I have a question about Rail Signals,
Do i place them on example before an after a stop when i want to use 2 trains on one stop.
Or how would i place the signals in sort of a Y intersection but meaning 2 lanes merge from left an right and then go up north?

That depends on what you want to achieve.

For me this is the question between having one- and two-way-tracks. For the first you need more space, for the second your trains need to wait longer.
Cool suggestion: Eatable MOUSE-pointers.

Generally speaking, it's a bad idea to put signals after a merge on a two-way track.
For one-way track, you should put signals anywhere that a train can stop, and not be in the way of another train.

If you don't mind risking a deadlock (trains trying to path through each other's block, and thus coming to a stand still, particularly easy to occur with 2-way track), then you should put signals on all sides of an intersection, merge, etc. All of them should face into the intersection.

Announcing Factorio Mod Madness Version 11.4 Series.

Hello,
I would like to thank all of you who have watched my series of Factorio Mod Madness (V10.12).
I would like to say that im starting another series, Instead of taking up forum space i will continue to use this same page rather then creating a new one.
This will be Factorio Mod Madness on Latest Beta Build of Factorio in which at this time i believe its version 11.4. (As of December 4th 2014)

Reason im moving up to version 11.4 isn't because of the new features regardless i do want to dig in to them.
But my files with version 10.12 Save files/mod files have became corrupt regardless of all my countless backup files are also corrupt being the mods are throwing off errors and are no longer playing nice with each other.

Also i want to apologize with my recent absent being Oct 27th to Dec 5th for not making any videos its mainly due to some problems with health, but nothing major.

Also i have some great news! But horrible bad news on my wallet - During the NewEgg Black friday and Cyber Sales i have gotten carried away on my budget for my very (1st) first desktop build in a long time. First one was back when they used Ribbon Cables.
If you would like to know my System information i will be gladly to disclose of it along with a video on YouTube when i build it around. ( Dec 13-20Th )

You should update to .11.5
There were some severe bugs present in .11.4, which resulted in a hotfix two days later.

Just built my new Gaming/Editing computer - Specs.

Case : NZXT Phantom 530 White
Motherboard : MSI 970 A Gaming Motherboard

Ram : ADATA 2 X 4GB 1600MHZ - Plan on eventually one day getting 24GB / 32GB , 2 X 4GB + 2 X 8GB = 24GB. " Haha,"
Cooler : Corsair H100I Water cooler " Pain to install. "
CPU : FX 8350 Black Edition
GPU : MSI OC R9 280 Twin Frozer 3GB

HDD : WD Blue 7200RPM 1TB
SSD : Samsung 850 Pro 256GB
PSU : Corsair CX 750M
OS : Windows 8.1 Pro, " Store didnt have 8.1 Regular in stock.... "

- Status update.
Finished building it from December 12/14 from 10Pm to 5AM.
Ran into a small problem an fixed it " IO Front Panel Pins "
No seriously the H100I had to be taken off 4-5 times to make it fit/mount to the cpu / make fans fit / make cables fit...
Now installing everything.
"Ram" Or just eventually getting 32GB of 1600 an Overclocking it to 2100Mhz
And waiting for new Microphone to come in.
Noticed the Orange? Is my favorite parts.
