New line-entity prototype

Hi all!

Is it possible to make new prototype for line entity? It can be some rope in the game, some vector or the limit for some area.
The line entity needs two positions: starting position, ending position and you get the line between this two positions, like laser beam or rail gun reverse track.
Can be also rendered as arrow with start and end points.
