Dedicated server won't show up on public server list

Ok so i bought a server online and im able to connect to it useing the ip adress but when i try to find it in the public list it is nowhere to be found?

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Can it be fixed by editing the server files?

Any help would be apriciated <3

Both need to be the same version and the server needs the setting: visibility-public=true.
