Mac - missing mods folder

Hi,

I am trying to install mods and have looked though the forum and other sites to locate the mods folder. It appears that the location suggested (~library/application support/factorio/mods) does not exsist.

I have created this folder manually but it still does not work. i am running 0.9.8 on a macbook pro 2.7 GHZ intel core i7

I am new to this so my apologies if i have missed something here.

The / after the ~ is important.

Thanks ssilk but it does not exist. I have created this manually but it still doesn't work.

I am wondering if it did not install correctly.

will try a fresh install again.
