This is probably going to sound a little weird, however, my friend and I were able to get reproducible input lag in the attached save when a giant deconstruction job was underway. Our FPS/UPS is capped a 60 during that time but slowly the game nearly stops responding to character input. If you cancel the job, everything returns to normal.
I have attached the save file. Both my friend and I are running Windows 10 for the client and the server is dedicated running on Debian Stretch. I connect to the server locally and my friend over the internet.

Thanks for the report. If your end is running at 60 FPS/UPS but not responding to input that means the server is falling behind (not powerful enough for your save).
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

Ah, ok. I assumed the FPS/UPS in the debug mode was my fps and the server ups. My mistake. Thanks for the info, could make for a good excuse to purchase some new hardware
