[0.9.8] Mac OS 10.7 Game crash on startup

This appears no longer crash, but I'm reporting it anyway.

The loading screen fully loads, then after an awkward pause, Factorio 0.98 crashes. The standard Mac OS error reporting GUI appears.

The previous time I played, I closed abruptly via the close window widget. I use the low graphics option since my machine can't do video graphics well enough. Oddly, the ~/Library/Application Support/factorio/factorio-current.log file is not there, that might be a bug in itself. I can pm the Mac OS error report to the Factorio team.

Does this happen with the 0.10.9 as well?

I've not tried 0.10.9 yet so I don't know.
Should I be worried about the lack of logfile? It should be in ~/Library/Application Data/factorio?

The log file should be in ~/Library/Application Support/factorio .

Ah sorry I meant "Application Support", not "Application Data"

But anyway, ~Library/Application Support/factorio/factorio-current.log does not exist.

I did run the 0.10.9 version (which hasn't crashed so far on loading) and the log file does exist then. Its up to you if you want to pursue this, I'm sure you rather focus on the latest version.

If it doesn't crash in 0.10.9, then it looks as resolved ... :)
