[.16.9] Game freeze then massive (35GB) memory leak

Vanilla, no mods.

Background - was playing fine for 3+ hours, no issues (no logistics bugs or the like), then game hung on autosave (known bug).

Reloaded from prior autosave file, then immediately had the logistics bugs as reported here. Played for 5-10 minutes without issue, then I noticed plastic production dropping off. I went to my plastic plant and on mouse-over of the various storage tanks to check fluid levels, the game froze (no autosave dialog box) and I noticed Factorio memory spiking from ~4.5GB to over 35GB of committed RAM before Windows 10 ground to a halt from lack of RAM/pagefile. Windows recovered and Factorio error dialog box appeared.

This may be related to the previously reported bugs but I'm not well enough versed in the Factorio crash logs to correctly identify.

I will reload and attempt to reproduce bug.

Thanks for the quick response! I am aware of that bug and I have seen no mention of any sort of memory leak for .16.x.

Hopefully its all related to the save bug but in the off chance that there is a different issue with the memory handling the log file is attached in the OP.

Also, I've spent another couple hours on that save and I have *not* been able to repeat the memory issue.

This is most probably related to the bugs solved for 0.16.10
