[0.16.4] "Reverse" Train driven

Hello,

i try the 16.4 and i found a different handling with the trains between the 15.x and 16.4. In front of every train station i created a "reverse train track". Some of the train stations have the same name - for example "iron input" and "iron output", so if one of the output station occupied, so the train can drive to another station with the same name.

The trains have 1-2-1 so it can drive in all directions.

key for the picture:
"A" is the incoming train
"B" and "C" are stations with have already a train - their are occupied
"D" is the reverse track - when the train "A" cannot drive into one of the train stations "B" or "C" so in the 0.15er Version the "A"-Train drive back about the "D" line..

I am not sure I understand what the behaviour is that you consider the bug.
Trains could never reverse direction unless they stop in a station, so if a train stops at the arrow point of A it can not go back through D and since there is a one-sided signal on the A-line, no train will ever be able to go east on the northern track.

If I missed your point, please describe again in one sentence what you expect the train to do in 0.16 that it does not perform.

Edit: Furthermore there is no signal on the right side of the S-bend at D, so the whole northern track is undriveable.

hi there.
my english is very bad so i can´t explain this so correct so i asked capilano to make this post. but i try it:

the problem is as follow.

our trains are 1-2-1 so trains can drive in both directions.
in version .15 the trains did what capilano said. they drive to the right side in the station. if these stations are full and a 3rd station with the same name is free, in 0.15 they drive back to the left side ( the northern way in my picture ) im sure cos i use exactly THIS blueprint in 0.15 and it works there... but in 0.16 they wont do this.
maybe this picture explains it a little bit better.

A 0.15 save with the player next to this contraption and a train comes and reverses without entering the station.

maybe u take a look here. at 11:50:40 roundabout it worked in 0.16

but not every time. only 1-2 times. and i dont changed THIS train reversed!

What worked in 0.16? You said it would not work in 0.16 and I asked you to show it working in 0.15 to even understand what it is that is supposed to work.

it had worked in 0.15 every time a 3rd station is free. now in 0.16 it worked only a short time. and i dont know why. atm it dont work. i use this "reverse-track" normally in every game. every load/unload stations, for example iron, is named same. -Iron for unload an +iron for load. and normally if 1,2 or more trains waiting at 1 station ( they drive to the next station with this name if no station is free ) they will drive "backwards" via this reverse track to another station that will be free. ( the 3rd station )

ok. this could be the problem why it dont work anymore.
thx for the help and sorry for my bad english. it wasn´t easy for my to explain what i exactly mean.
