0.15.40 Server Freezes at Cropping Bitmap

UPDATE:

I solved this by running the ZIP file on my own computer (I didn't wanna mess with my install I had on here) and changed the settings on that one to not be in full screen and run everything at lower settings. Then I transferred my config file to my server and it loaded in file. I will attach my copy of the config on the forum for anyone who wants to have it but not have to do what I did.

So I am having a issue with my windows server freezing at "Cropping Bitmap" @ 40%.

I can run the headless fine, but not the bitmap.

If assistance would be appreciated. Here are my specs below:

Also note, this server is basically running a VM and I am accessing it via VMware. This is probably causing the issue.

OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter 64-bit SP1
CPU: Intel Xeon E5 @ 2.60 GHz
RAM: 10 GB allocated (96 total)
Graphics: VMware SVGA 3D

I'm guessing that it either ran out of video memory, or the VM's graphics drivers don't implement one of the functions factorio uses. Also it's not clear to me whether you were trying to run the windows version in headless mode. That should work, and I'm assuming it won't load or crop bitmaps.

If you want further help diagnosing this then please upload the log-file from a session with this problem.
