After fixing the trains (which consequently kicked off production again), it took about 30 seconds to a minute for the FPS to drop to 5 and all subsequent user input was disabled. Could not walk around, could not open the map, couldn't interact with the game at all. Had to force quit Factorio in order to escape the program. After relaunching, now getting a "You have been disconnected as your computer wasn't fast enough to keep up with the server." errors when trying to connect.
I'm connecting to the server via the "Play on LAN" option - I get the same result from "Connect to server" and manually typing in the IP.
Can verify that if I roll back my save file, I can connect, but once I fix the trains, the server becomes unresponsive, freezes, and I encounter the same issue. I tried tweaking the "minimum_latency_in_ticks", but it just made the client take longer to fully time out and give the error above.
I can load the save file fine on my computer, but I only get around 40 FPS/UPS.
The VM has the following specs:
2 E3-1230 V2 cores (3.3 GHz)
3 GB RAM
All packages in Ubuntu are up-to-date.
Attached are client and server logs - server logs are just the output of
Code: Select all
journalctl -u factorio.service
Any help is appreciated!
