Why are there visible outdated mods? The game doesn't allow to install them anyway, so why do they clutter mod list? At least hide them until user specificly ask to show them (I don't really know why would one do that). Or add sortable "Required factorio version" column. Ordering by "Last updated" is good, but it screws up big modpacks since they aren't usually updated all at one time.
It is probably too late for that but it would be really nice if mods could have more than one category. And some way to filter categories in game.

Some people prefer playing with an outdated game with outdated mods than up-to-date game without mods

Well the game can check for any version. If you are on 0.14 you should see 0.14 mods and not 0.15 or 0.13 mods because you can't use them.
