cant get my steam engien to work :(

Hi i'm doing my first factory in this game and it's awsome but i ran in to a problem when i tried to make electricity with the steam engien, this is how the electricity plant looks like: http://i.imgur.com/vRJwGnR.png i put cole in the steam pan and it burns for 2 seconds then it shouts of ?? what am i doing wrong ??

looks ok, do you have machines connected to the steam engine? The icon will continue blinking until you actually connect something that needs power.

Gotta connect it to something that uses electricity for it to start producing it.
