Game hangs on install mods

Hey,

if i click on install mods and the portal is not responding, the game hangs.
After a while the window opened but couldn't load the mods.

After clicking refresh the game stuck completly forever...

I suggest to add a timeout for every connection attempt.

Thanks for the report. HTTP methods do have timeouts - do you have any way to reproduce the problem? When I test it times out exactly as I expect it to (or succeeds when I let it) never freezing forever.

Hrm how i hate this question

First i had the theory that my LAN connection dropped, but the timeout worked.
Second i thought the connection type from WIFI to LAN or vice versa was the culprit but this also showed as wrong.

So nobody knows what happened.
What i wonder about is the 200 OK as response.

Can you listen to the transmission and interrupt it at the specific moment?

Hey,

it happened again at clicking on Check for updates.
It seems, as i interpret the log, that the transmission is finished and an other process interrupts Factorio so it hangs...

Maybe Steam itself or RivaTuner...?
