So I had an idea of a way to light larger areas easier then spamming little lamps everywhere.
My idea is some sort of floodlights, like they have at sports games to light up the field, these could be used to light large areas with ease.

Re: Floodlights
An advanced medium pole would be neat.
Maybe you need 4 lamps and the power pole to craft a flood light.
Or have the possibilty to Mount a light on other objects for example on an Assembler.

I also find it really attractable to have lights built into power poles. But sure thing they should be optionally turnable on/off.
As an option you could have their lamps directed towards the ground making the lamp itself not visible to players but ground illumination should be there.
As a downside I am not sure how would that impact FPS with such a big number of light sources.
It is a good idea to have a separate power pole with embedded light source which could possibly be built from regular power pole and a lamp. I have never build lamps serially and this could be their chance
