failed to initialize display device 0.15.27

hi,
when I try to run the game.
the screen flickers for a while then the above Error message pops up.

I have two monitors running on a radeon R9 280x.
not sure what could be a cause for this

Posting your log file (found in %appdata%\Factorio named factorio-current.log) would be useful.

fixed the issue with a computer restart ^.~

Just wanted to say that I had the same error today and restarting windows also fixed the issue for me.
