Boiler auto feed ? (tuto 4)

Hello,

I'm actually on the tutorial 4 mission, and I don't know how to feed automatically the boiler with coal... I try conveyer belts then a robotic arm, but it doesn't seems to work.
I try to place a chest near the boiler, but it doesn't help neither...

Anyone know how to do it ?

Hmm

a) does the inserter have power?
b) show a screenshot maybe, might be easier to help ^^
c) make sure the inserter arrows point toward the boiler
d) if you're only just starting up you'd usually have to throw 1 or 2 coal into the boiler to get it running so the inserter can get power (only if you don't have any power running yet)

You need also power poles to connect engines with inserters.

e) option is that it is working, but Inserter don't insert when there is 5 or more coal in boilers.

Thanks rk84, you are right. I do a test by emptying the boiler and the inserter start to work. Thanks both of you for your answer :p
