logistic questions

Post by mohreb »

Hi all i have some questions regarding logistic network:
1) can you set a condition someway about available robots? so you automatically insert new logistic robots whenever there is place for new?
2) if i understand well requester chests are part of the network as far as i know, so items in them count, how can this be avoided? (i would like to limit constructions based on items in the provider and storage chests so i can have some allways available, and not to have a shortage in some of the requesters because others hold the items
Let me illustrate with an example:
Assembler A,B and C needs circuits, they have all a requester chest to take 100, there is assembler E making circuits until there is 200 in the system. if assembler A and B do not use circuits at the moment (as their end product is not needed), but their requester is having the 200 units of circuit, assembler C won't get any so it can not produce even if needed.
(i try to plan some backup assembly setups with separate assemblies which only work when really low on their output, but do not want to worry about to much calculus to make the setup work, and definitively do not want to re arrange number settings as it is expanded)

1. Not at the moment.
2. Items in requester chests are not counted as being in the logistic system.

Moved from general to suggestions.
Cool suggestion: Eatable MOUSE-pointers.
