As the title states, the auto-save feature is disabled when the menu is up. In multiplayer the game will continue to run, but saves will not be performed. So when I leave my computer in the menu and leave I lose a LOT of autosaves. The "autosave only on server" "feature" provides a bad discord to all of this, because my friend who was the one actually playing didn't get any autosaves either. I'd go so far as to suggest disabling the clients don't autosave option by default. If not permanently at least until this problem is fixed.

I can confirm that the multiplayer server/host does not do any autosaves while the 'Game' menu is open

After some inspection. I realized that this is on purpose.
You can't open menu when auto save is in progress and you also can't autosave when menu is opened.
This is to avoid all kinds of weird stuff from happening.

So I have to say, won't fix.
