With the new fluid wagons, it is now possible to ship steam to your outposts for power, just needs a single solar panel to jumpstart the pump to make the connection.

Good to know. Too bad you can't put steam in normal barrels (because of this I assumed you can't put it into tanks).

It actually goes into the tanker as water at 165C, so it might work in barrels

edit: just tested and it seems the temperature is lost on barreling, probably due to being a new item instead of just being moved to a new container
