Can use of loaders give me more UPS than inserters?

This would be via the add-loaders mod which enables the loaders already built into the game. I thought that there would probably be fewer calculations per tick associated with a loader than an inserter (swings, energy drain) but would look to someone more knowledgeable about the game engine to confirm.

Probably not. The loader is not built to be incredibly efficient as it was originally just a proof of concept.
