Auto... Refining?

So i'm not sure if this is a dumb question or not, but how to you automatically have the oil refinery make all the stuff for you?

If there's oil in the input pipe and room in all three output pipes it will produce, there shouldn't be anything else required. Check for breaks or blockages in your pipe network.

everything the refinery makes has to go somewhere. if one item gets backed up, the refining stops.
making storage tanks helps, but adding more and more is a temp solution.
set it up so you can pump them all back into one tank. keeping different items separate of course.
you want to switch to advanced oil refining as soon as you can.
then figure out a good ratio of refineries, heavy to light cracking, and light to petroleum to keep the petroleum flowing.

i suggest only storing crude, heavy, and light oil. (1 tank each)
i never store, petroleum or sulfuric acid. they are to be used, not stored.
