Simple train issue

Post by Lord Breetai »

OK. Ive GOT to be mentally missing a tiny fundamental when it comes to signaling. I Just cant seem to figure it out and I dont know why. Yes Ive watched about 3 hours worth of youtube tutorials and STILL cant get it to go. Ive included a MS Paint drawing of my layout showing the one and only meeting point. The N/S train runs fine. The E/W train NEVER gets green.
Meeting point with what I THOUGHT would be the correct layout.

If there is only one train you need to add reverse direction signals on E-W same as N-S track. Or you have another train on same line?

If that crossing has the only signals on the E-W trains loop the train will see itself and therefore the signal will be red.
Add signals to the begin and exit of the loop.
