[0.12.40?] partial crash when updating

The updater launched with version 0.12.40 updates successfully to 0.13.0, then gets SSL connect error:

203.692 Info Updater.cpp:762: Download failed (SSL connect error -- 8,��)

After restarting the updater proceeds successfully.

I know it might be a very small bug (if any), but I'm reporting becouse it's always better to know than not to know.

Since the version is so old, even if it is a bug it is most likely fixed.
