Offline Lan without having to log in

Hi to all
I want to play with my brother Factorio in this weekend but we wont have a internet connection on our laptops
i tried to create a multiplayer world without internet connection just to see if it will work but i have to log in
the error was "couldnt reach the auth server"
so my question is how can we play a offline lan game without having to log in

On every client set a username in Options --> Other, you can choose any name as this is unrelated to accounts.

You then go to Multiplayer --> New/Load game and in the multiplayer lobby set the following:

• disable the Public checkbox for Visibility but leave LAN enabled
• disable the Verify User Identity checkbox

After you started the game your brother can join you using Multiplayer --> Play on LAN.
