Inventory Bug for Mac full game

On the campaign mission where you first have to mess with trains you get to the point where you must gather resources, of which says place in your inventory or your car's, on my game the resources in the car don't register and I don't have enough inventory space to complete the mission.

Not a bug, although it's definitely confusing. You have to get into the car for the resources in the car to count.
